About me.

I am both an amateur radio and GMRS operator, KQ4DNE & WROP862. I was first licensed in 2022. The idea for this website came from being a new ham and seeing a lot of different resources for repeaters, antenna, digital modes, propagation, and more, but they were scattered all over the internet and on different YouTube videos. I wanted to make a resource for the newly licensed or the more seasoned ham setting up a new computer.

I also work full time for a local emergency management agency, there are resources for the ARES/RACES/Skywarn volunteers. You can find links to a weather dashboard and a weather/propagation dashboard. There are links to maps with currently alert areas, power outages (for our region), our county emergency blog, ICS forms, communications guides, weather maps, space weather, FEMA acronym guide, and other related things that I find helpful.
